As  Demand & Supply Planner reports directly to Head of Global S&OP and is overall accountable for increasing the level of customer service through on-time deliveries in appropriate quantity and quality, while reducing costs resulting from over or out of stock and active participation in the S&OP process.

Main tasks:

  • Expert for demand, capacity and material planning
  • Balance demand with supply to secure product availability for a given product family
  • Address capacity issues and production location decisions
  • Active contribution to the S&OP process to ensure its effectiveness including but not limited to creating the feedback to the organization, animation of monthly feedback to stakeholders, develop risk mitigation plans and communicate trends of demand to internal and external stakeholders
  • Be close to Product life cycle Management for phase in/out/ EOL readiness Master Planning / Fulfillment task:
  • Get overview of complete demand based on orders, forecast and requirements in cooperation with Sales, Product Management, Regions for a given family of product(s)
  • Partner with production planners to ensure execution of the production plans and support the resolution of supply issues
  • Facilitate prioritization for manufacturing and procurement, define escalation processes Fulfillment of PO
  • Plan, schedule as well as coordinate materials availability to assist production developed schedules.
  • Research business issues to define risks and opportunities
  • Support bidding for customers’ projects
  • Effectively respond to demand plan and operational  variations
  • Reduce inventory and out-of-stock levels and eliminate obsolete

S&OP:

  • Prepare the data, information and scenarios required for the S&OP Meeting in the right quality and at the right time
  • Prepare the necessary reports and Master Plan in the right quality at the right time
  • Prepare and manage meetings with Sales and Production Teams as part of the S&OP process
  • Monitor customer service levels in terms of on-time complete deliveries, forecast accuracy, overall equipment effectiveness and inventory levels
  • Submit ideas for improvements

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in supply and/or production planning in a company with an international reach.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • S&OP process knowledge
  • INFOR Planning Module / SAP APO knowledge
  • Good oral and written communication in English and Spanish
  • Strong organizational skills from both administrative and hands on standpoints.
  • Ability to work with data and information under time pressure.
  • Highly developed analytical and communication skills.
